Looks fine. Living in HK myself we know a bit about dim sum and yum cha. Ilove HK tea and most of the canto dim sum. Not such a fan about those Changhai (fat flour) dim sum.
BTW, we had Tasmanian mussels last week (extremely expensive in Hong Kong as all stuff not local). Quite okay taste but still they won’t beat the dutch/french or even Irish quality. But maybe that’s just me and my tastebuts. (FYI: 1 kg prepacked live mussels was 168 HK$). Think I need to move from here asap after retirement.
Cheers Victor and have fun with your new blog.
Hi JP – I love DS in HK. I can’t remember the couple of places we have been there. But, they were really good. To me, DS is really a cantonese specialty.
What is “Changhai”? Do you mean “Shanghai”?
The best mussels I have tasted here in Tasmania are the Spring Bay mussels, http://www.springbayseafoods.com.au/spring-bay-mussels.
That is awfully expensive to eat in HK for mussels. They are quite reasonable here when in season.
I think blogging takes more time in creating post than Facebook, not sure now if I should link my blogroll to your new blog or Facebook page. Since I don’t have FB, I’m glad you have it set for everyone to view.
Hi Nye – I agree with your points between Blog and FB. Personally, I prefer blogging than FB, so I will be doing more blogging. But FB Page when I find interesting posts from reading other sites. You can link to my new blog if you like.
Hi Victor
Was nice meeting you in Carlton Street, New Town but we never got to be neighbors. (sadly)!
Just to give you our very best wishes wherever you are now.
